Ameri-Force, Inc. is seeking an experienced Marine Insulator for our Newport News, VA shipyard team. The role involves installing, removing, repairing, and replacing insulation on naval and commercial vessels, following NAVSEA specifications and shipyard safety standards.

Ideal candidates have shipyard insulation experience, are comfortable reading blueprints, and can work in confined spaces. Competitive pay, a $120/day per diem for non-local employees, and a hire bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience installing marine insulation aboard vessels.
• Knowledge of NAVSEA specifications and shipyard safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, repair, and replace insulation on piping, bulkheads, machinery, and systems aboard vessels.
• Measure, cut, fabricate, and fit insulation materials per specifications.
• Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings to ensure proper installation.
• Follow NAVSEA requirements and shipyard procedures for safety and quality.
