Job summary

Global- a 1st Flagship Company in Bremerton, WA, seeks a Marine Inspector II to conduct scheduled inspections of vessels, verify safety systems, and ensure quality workmanship across inactivation and lay-up projects.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least five years of inspection experience, preferably in the military, and be able to obtain a SECRET clearance as a US citizen.

Qualifications

• Five years of inspection experience or relevant military inspection experience.
• Ability to perform quality assurance inspections and maintain accurate departmental files.
• Ability to interpret safety and alarm systems and RTU systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled routine inspections on vessels in the inventory (fire and flooding alarms; hull integrity; life safety systems).
• Perform quality assurance inspections of ongoing and completed work and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Assist in training ship's force in inactivation and lay-up of equipment and spaces.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of alarm systems and RTU systems.
• Maintain accurate department files and ensure safe, high-quality workmanship.
