Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Marine Inspector to support its Marine Services team in Portland, Oregon, and Southern California. The role requires independence, client interface, and hands-on inspections aboard commercial and government vessels, with travel to ports and shipyards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on vessel inspection, thickness gauging, piping, and coating experience; certifications with ABS, LR, DNV, ClassNK, or MSC are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of marine inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting vessels, hulls, piping, and coatings.
• Familiarity with classification society standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform classification society and owner inspections.
• Conduct hull condition and thickness surveys.
• Oversee shipyard repairs and provide technical reports.
