Walashek Industrial & Marine Inc. is seeking a detail oriented, outgoing Helper for our established marine and industrial repair team in San Diego. You will perform general work using hand and power tools, assist crews, read a tape measure, and follow job instructions.

This position requires adaptability to open-air, fast-paced environments and meeting deadlines. We provide paid holidays, paid vacation, medical & dental coverage, and a 401(k) plan.

Formación

• Ability to read a tape measure and take basic measurements.
• General knowledge of hand and power tools used in shipyard/industrial settings.
• Familiar with shop tools and equipment commonly used on projects.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with teams.
• Understanding lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety basics.

Responsabilidades

• Read a tape measure and assist with basic measurement tasks.
• Support crews with use of hand and power tools and handling debris.
• Perform general work including cleaning and material handling as directed.
