Gillen Yacht Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Marine HVAC Technician to install, wire, and service HVAC, water makers, and refrigeration systems on luxury yachts.

You will follow diagrams, troubleshoot advanced equipment, document work, and supervise technicians to ensure project objectives are met. The ideal candidate has 4+ years’ yacht HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years’ experience on high end yachts.
• Experience working with testing equipment and tools.
• Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Proper Tools

Responsibilities

• Install, wire and connect various models of HVAC and Refrigeration systems on yachts.
• Ability to follow blueprints, piping and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot manufacturers technology.
• Document work performed and identify parts needed.
• Read wiring specs and diagrams; supervise projects as needed.

About The Job

We are looking for experienced lead marine HVAC Technicians. Responsibilities include installation and repair of marine AC, Water makers and refrigeration systems on yachts.

• Install, wire and connect various models of HVAC and Refrigeration systems


• Ability to follow blueprints, piping and wiring diagrams


• Ability to troubleshoot various manufacturers technology


• Documents work performed


• Identifies parts needed to complete job


• Reads wiring specs and diagrams.


• Cleans tools and work area


• Works with other technicians as needed


• Able to cooperate with other departments to accomplish project goals


• Follow defined instructions and procedures


• Can work independently


• Has tools necessary to perform job duties


• Can supervise projects and technicians to accomplish objectives

Experience & Requirements

The right candidate will have a minimum of 4 plus years’ experience working on high end yachts and pride themselves in delivering a quality product.

Experience

• Marine HVAC: 4 years (Required)
