Job summary

Terral RiverService, Inc is seeking a Loading and Heavy Machinery Operator in Lettsworth, LA to facilitate the transfer of aggregates from barge to truck. The role requires careful attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience and hands-on knowledge of operating heavy equipment. You should be able to follow procedures, work under pressure, and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Experience with operating heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of unloading/loading procedures and techniques.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Physically able to perform demanding work in all weather conditions.
• Excellent hand-eye-foot coordination and balance.
• Able to kneel, crouch, or crawl to repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transfer aggregates and materials from barge to truck.
• Support safe and efficient loading operations in a marine logistics setting.
• Maintain equipment and report safety concerns to the supervisor.
