Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter to engage customers, demonstrate products, and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, provide direction, and help them choose items that fit their needs, while keeping displays stocked and prices current.

The role emphasizes friendly service, product expertise, and participation in promotions such as CLUB Membership and in-store pickup. Part-time position with physical requirements typical for retail.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Provide information, assistance and direction to customers.
• Demonstrate products and keep shelves stocked per merchandising guidelines.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• All other duties as assigned.
