Qualifications

• 2 years of industry experience.
• Functional understanding of electricity and electrical safety practices.
• HAZWOPER certificate (40 hours).
• Forklift Certification.
• CPR & First Aid Certification.
• Welding, brazing, soldering, metal work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform all diesel engine repairs across the fleet.
• Able to recommend and install new systems and novel solutions.
• Mentor Marine Mechanics on knowledge and workmanship.
• Repair and replace pilothouse electronics; diagnose vessel media systems.
• Liaise between company and outside contractors to complete repairs.
