Job summary

A prominent cruise line is seeking Engineers to manage technical operations aboard modern vessels. This role involves maintaining all shipboard machinery and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Candidates should have experience with diesel machinery and the ability to solve problems effectively. The position offers competitive pay and benefits including health insurance and 401(k) plans. This is a full-time, exempt role requiring 7 days a week work during on-board rotations of 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off.

Qualifications

• Must have a TWIC – Transportation Worker Identification Card.
• Able to perform essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Pre-employment drug test and participation in ongoing random testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all shipboard machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide 24-hour response for technical issues.
• Support vessel docking, logistics, and operational maintenance.
• Implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is optimal.
• Promote safety culture among crew.
