Job summary

A premier cruise operator is seeking an experienced Engineer for vessel operation and maintenance along various waterways. The role requires experience with diesel machinery and the ability to respond to technical issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting systems on board to comply with maritime regulations and ensure passenger safety. This full-time position offers a competitive daily pay rate, healthcare benefits, and a year-round rotation (4 weeks on, 4 weeks off).

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel machinery, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Strong work habits, self-discipline, and attention to personal grooming.
• Ability to assist with maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all shipboard machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide 24-hour response for technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for passengers and crew.

Skills

Experience with diesel machinery

Knowledge of shipboard machinery and auxiliary systems
