The role includes helping customers via phone, email, and in-store support, organizing inventory, and producing accurate product descriptions for online listings. The ideal candidate will have low voltage electronics experience, familiarity with NMEA0183/NMEA2000, board-level repairs, and proficiency with relevant hand tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with low voltage electrical systems.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools.
• Experience building and terminating network and video cables.
• Working knowledge of NMEA0183, NMEA2000, and Serial Data (certs preferred).
• Proficiency with board-level repairs.

Responsibilities

• Bench test marine electronics products and may specialize by brand or product line.
• Organize and sort incoming inventory.
• Diagnose and repair marine equipment.
• Provide customer support via phone and email during business hours—pre-sale or post-sale.
• Clean, photograph and list tested equipment on MME website and eBay store.
• Create accurate product descriptions per MME and eBay regulations.
• Operate lift trucks and material handling equipment as needed.
• Sand, grind and perform minor fabrication to aid repair processes.
• Maintain a safe work area.
• Assist Associate Marine Electronics Technicians in day-to-day tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
