Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in the manufacturing and marine industries.
• Knowledge of three-phase high voltage, control circuits, and be able to read schematic drawings.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex written, oral, or diagramed instructions.
• Color vision is required.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, connect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems at sites.
• Test and maintain electronic controls for machinery.
• Test and assess motors, transformers, generators, and electronic controllers on machine tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and correcting problems before breakdowns.
• Replace circuit breakers, fuses, switches, and electrical components or wires.
• Set up and test equipment prior to startup; disconnect after project completion.
• Assist or train less experienced employees as needed.
