Summary:
Manage all aspects of the proper maintenance of marine fueling stations.
Pay: Starting at $24.13 per hour DOE
- Assess tank status; inspect valves, hoses, nozzles; check emergency pump shut-off; ensure pump pressure is within limits; conduct security checks; maintain cleanliness and organization of fueling station.
- Count and record product inventory.
- Guide vessels to appropriate fill stations; set flow rates; log fueling activities; handle customer payments and documentation.
- Inspect spill pads and absorbent booms for accessibility and condition.
- Assist drivers, warehouse staff, and vessel vendors as needed.
- Handle Hazmat products; operate forklifts, fuel, and lubricant pumps.
- Perform routine facility maintenance.
Other Functions:
- Participate in special projects as assigned
- Perform additional duties as required
- Maintain flexibility and availability for extended hours
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience on a marine fuel dock
- Forklift certification, TWIC card, and minimum 24 hours HAZWOPER training (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Adherence to policies, procedures, and organizational values

- Commitment to safety and security procedures
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Working Conditions:
- Physical activities including bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead
- Handling equipment and materials with both hands and arms
- Fine motor skills for manipulating small objects
- Extended walking, sitting, standing; lifting over 100 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly and hear various noises
- Work outdoors in varying weather and in warehouses with open dock doors
- Exposure to loud noises, vibrations, moving machinery, heights, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
- Visual requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
