Job summary

Diversified Yacht Services is seeking an experienced Marine Diesel & Propulsion Technician to join our team at Southwest Florida's premier yacht repair facility.

In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, repair, rebuild on marine diesel engines, generators, propulsion systems, and related vessel equipment, using OEM manuals and ABYC standards with independent troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of marine repair experience.
• Factory training and marine certifications helpful.
• Experience with Volvo, Yanmar, Westerbeke, Cummins, Caterpillar, IPS drives, and similar systems helpful.
• Strong knowledge of marine diesel powerplants, running gear, thru-hulls, and vessel maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Must provide personal tools required for diagnostics and repairs.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, kneeling, bending, and working in confined marine spaces.

Diversified Yacht Services (DYS) is seeking an experienced Marine Diesel & Propulsion Technician to join our team at Southwest Florida's premier yacht repair facility.

In this role, you will perform diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, rebuilds, installations, and repowers on marine diesel engines, generators, propulsion systems, and related vessel equipment. This position requires independent troubleshooting, use of computer-based diagnostic tools, and adherence to ABYC standards and manufacturer specifications.

Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500, commensurate with experience.

• Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed


• $25-$32 per hour, based on experience


• Monthly billable-percentage bonus


• Sign on bonus offered, commensurate with experience up to $2,500
