Job summary

Diversified Yacht Services, Inc. in Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Certified Outboard Marine Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines and vessel systems. You will service outboard, gas, diesel, and sterndrive engines and perform diagnostics, testing, and maintenance.

Role requires independent work and teamwork, with a focus on quality and safety; a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 is offered along with a full benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Proven marine repair experience for more than two years.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with outboard and marine systems.
• AC/DC testing equipment and engine diagnostics experience.
• Good communication and attention to detail in a service setting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain marine engines and vessel systems.
• Perform service on outboard, gas, diesel, and sterndrive.
• Conduct engine diagnostics, electrical testing, repowers, rigging, and annual maintenance.
• Perform oil changes, impeller replacements, cooling system service, steering repairs, and hydraulic work.
• Complete detailed inspection reports and repair recommendations.
• Safely operate customer vessels for testing and inspections.

Diversified Yacht Services is seeking an experienced Certified Outboard Marine Technician to join our team at one of the most advanced marine service facilities in Southwest Florida. If you're passionate about marine repair, enjoy solving complex mechanical problems, and want to work on outboards, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain marine engines and vessel systems
• Perform service on outboard, gas, diesel, and sterndrive
• Conduct engine diagnostics, electrical testing, repowers, rigging, and annual maintenance
• Perform oil changes, impeller replacements, cooling system service, steering repairs, and hydraulic work
• Complete detailed inspection reports and repair recommendations

What We're Looking For

• Proven marine repair experience for more than two years.

Physical Requirements

This role requires working in marine environments, including lifting up to 59 lbs., climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, working in confined spaces, and performing duties outdoors in varying weather conditions while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Competitive hourly pay and m onthly bonus opportunities
• Sign on bonus up to $2,500, commensurate with experience
