Western Branch Diesel, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, is seeking an all-level Marine Technician/Mechanic at our Beaufort, North Carolina location. Earn $30–$45 per hour with a hiring bonus up to $5,000 DOE and relocation assistance.

Join a trusted family-owned distributor/dealer for major brands and advance within the service team. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, and using OEM software and tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as Marine Technician or Mechanic preferred or entry level considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns

Physical Demands

Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the Technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections. Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
