Job summary

Reagan Marine Construction seeks experienced carpenters to join the team in the Narragansett Bay area of Rhode Island. The Carpenter handles fabrication of piers, docks, railings, and related marine construction, and is skilled in basic construction with attention to detail and willingness to learn marine nuances.

Tasks include layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling, with a strong emphasis on safety and maintaining a clean work environment on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a carpenter / framer.
• Construction OSHA 10 required or we will help you acquire this.
• Tolerance to all types of weather conditions.
• Physically demanding job. Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long duration.
• Reliable transportation to job sites each day.

Responsibilities

• Layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling the fabrication of construction projects in areas surrounding Narragansett Bay.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
