Salary Range: $65,000 to $77,000

Job Description:

SKF Marine is seeking an Alignment Engineer to perform alignment jobs on rotating equipment and on-site machining.

Job Requirements:

1. Execute mechanical services such as: Alignment, Chocking, Mounting, Vibration data collecting.
2. Execute or understand basics of mechanical services: Vibration data analyzing, 3D measuring and survey, Onsite machining, Work/project preparation, able to produce all standard technical reports.
3. Run their operations according to the SKF Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Policies, and work according to the SKF Quality Management System.
4. If the operation is EHS certified, work according to the SKF EHS Management System.
5. Follow management instructions and procedures; report Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) risks and EHS related incidents; follow quality specifications and requirements and identify quality risks and opportunities for improvement.
6. Take appropriate actions to maintain and improve the working environment and working practices.
7. Ensure that ISO 9001, SKF internal quality systems and other applicable standards are followed.
8. Company Truck will be provided.
9. Extensive travel could be required, including outside of the US.
10. Employees are expected to put in a full day’s work, hours will vary depending on customer requirements.
11. SKF Service Delivery is a 24/7 – 365 operation and engineers will be required to work overtime including weekends and holidays when required, as well as outside the US.
