Job summary

Hingham Shipyard Marina in Hingham, MA is seeking a reliable Marina Yard Hand to assist with daily operations and maintenance of the marina yard. You will help with boat launching, docking, and customer service while ensuring a clean, safe environment for stored boats.

Qualifications

• Experience in a marina, boat yard, or outdoor work environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or with a team.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with launching, hauling, and moving boats within the marina yard.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the marina grounds, docks, and equipment.
• Operate marina equipment such as forklifts, trailers, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Help customers with boat docking, launching, and retrieval as needed.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management.
• Assist with inventory management and organization of marina supplies and equipment.
• Follow marina policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Support other marina staff with various tasks as required.
