Cape Ann Marina in Gloucester, MA is seeking a dependable Yard Hand to join our busy marina and boatyard team. This full-time, year-round role involves moving, launching, hauling, blocking, washing, and maintaining boats while keeping the yard organized and safe.

The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor work, is team-based, eager to learn, and ready to perform hands-on tasks. Marina or boatyard experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Marina/boatyard experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hauling, blocking, launching, and moving boats around the marina and boatyard.
• Safely operate equipment such as travel lifts, hydraulic trailers, forklifts, and yard carts.
• Support daily boatyard operations with the Yard Manager and team.
• Propel pressure washing and general boatyard maintenance as needed.
• Assist with dock deconstruction and new dock construction.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the marina.
• Support grounds keeping and general property maintenance as required.
• Collaborate with other departments and adapt to seasonal demands.
