Responsibilities

• Keep the vessel, work areas, and yard clean, organized, and safe.
• Move, stage, and rig material and equipment to support production.
• Assist shipfitters, welders, and other trades by gathering tools, pulling leads and equipment, and aiding measuring, lifting, and positioning components.
• Place tacks on structural components that have been fit and awaiting welding.
• This is an entry-level, hands-on role that keeps the yard running and supports the trades wherever needed.
