Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas seeks an Equipment Operator to move vessels within the facility for haul and launch, storage or sales. You will inspect and maintain equipment and perform yard work and general maintenance to keep the marina in top condition.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years’ experience, heavy forklift experience with certification, and a valid driver’s license. PM shifts and overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ relevant experience preferred.
• Heavy forklift experience and certification required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including marine forklifts, travelifts, and hydraulic trailers.
• Move vessels to and from water and designated spaces safely and efficiently.
• Inspect, maintain and repair equipment to ensure operability.
• Perform yard work and general marina maintenance as required.
• Assist with ground maintenance and maintain marina cleanliness.
