Equity LifeStyle Properties in Cortez, Florida is seeking a Dockhand to join our outdoor marina team. You will greet boaters, assist with docking and services, and help with fueling, pump-outs, and safety inspections.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and physical work outdoors, with training provided for marina procedures and events. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and weekends/holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with good time management and ability to organize work.
• Strong communicator and customer-service oriented.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Safety-minded and punctual.
• Marina/boating experience preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist boaters with arrivals, departures, docking, and dock carts.
• Assist with fueling, pump-outs, freshwater service, and report fuel and ice sales.
• Help with vessel operations including spotter duties and boat handling assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness of marina facilities and grounds.
• Perform daily trash removal and general property upkeep.
• Conduct safety inspections and report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Assist with events, marina projects, and emergency response as needed.
• Enforce marina rules and follow company policies.
