Job summary

SkipperBud's is seeking a Dock Attendant at our Wisconsin marina to assist customers with docking and tying vessels, manage fuel and ship-store transactions, and help keep docks and stores orderly and safe. You will handle cashless and cash transactions, record sales, and support the parts team as needed.

The role requires comfort operating pumps, boats, and basic equipment, plus a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must complete State Boating Safety Course.
• Ability to operate pumps and record fuel/ship store sales.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Present a professional and welcoming demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with docking and tying vessels safely.
• Maintain a clean, presentable ships store and accurately record fuel purchases.
• Operate cash register and card payments; ensure correct IDS entries.
• Assist forklift drivers with placing boats and inventory.
• Respond to weather threats and secure docks and vessels.
