Job summary

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Improve key operational performance areas
• Analyze and recommend process improvements
• Act as resource to plant manager in identifying inefficiencies and solving them
• Work with team members to develop good working relationships and high morale
• Coach supervisors in production and team member decision
• Correlate with 1st shift USDA on a daily basis
• Facilitate information across all shifts and departments
• Correlate with Director of Fleet Operations as needed
• Personally monitor all KPI and cost/lbs data on a daily basis
• Implement all WOG yield measures as directed by the Plant Manager

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for 8‑10 hours per day; free use of hands and free range of arm movement; ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8‑10 hours per day; ability to safely walk to and in the plant; ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, sanitary equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments
