Job summary

Bungie is seeking a contract Producer to support Marathon development. You will partner with creative, technical, and production leaders to establish clear plans, coordinate execution, manage risks, and deliver high-quality player experiences on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, tenacious, and empathetic, comfortable with ambiguity, and focused on improving communication, visibility and delivery across passionate teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in game production or project management for complex creative/technical work.
• Ability to partner with multidisciplinary teams (creative, design, engineering, art, test, user research).
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to summarize complex information and create alignment.
• Proven ability to identify problems, reduce ambiguity, and drive practical solutions.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail with multiple priorities.
• Empathy and ability to resolve misalignment constructively.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay focused on results.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Miro or equivalent.
• Ability to handle confidentiality and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive production for Marathon team, ensuring goals, scope, schedules, and deliverables are clear.
• Create and maintain production plans, milestones, backlogs, schedules, and status reports with leads.
• Facilitate communication and decision-making across disciplines and stakeholders.
• Track progress against schedules, budgets, staffing, and release commitments.
• Identify risks and blockers; create mitigation plans and escalate as needed.
• Maintain plan of record and communicate changes and decisions promptly.
• Coordinate planning meetings, rituals, and sessions with needed participants.
• Partner with creative/technical leaders to build consensus and move work forward.
