Job summary

Alart Machine Corp. is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist in Houston, TX. You will read prints, set up, and run CNC mills from setup to finished part, selecting tooling and maintaining tight tolerances.

Proficiency with measuring tools, GD&T, and knowledge of speeds/feeds is essential; CNC programming is a plus and will move candidates up the list. Join a hands-on shop with a proud tradition of quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC mills from setup to finished part.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine offsets to maintain tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.

Alart Machine Corp. is looking for an experienced CNC Mill Machinist who knows their way around a machine shop and takes pride in producing quality parts. We need someone who can read prints, perform their own setups, select tooling, make offsets, hold tight tolerances, and independently run CNC mills from setup through finished part. CNC programming experience is highly preferred and will move qualified candidates to the top of our hiring consideration. Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.


• Proficiency with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers (Haas, or similar controls)


• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing specifications


• Experience with precision measuring tools and quality control processes


• Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, and tooling selection


• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment
