Job summary

Service Measure (SM) is seeking reliable drivers for a large-scale mapping data collection project. You will operate client-provided vehicles with mapping equipment to cover assigned zones, travel to hotel-based assignments, and coordinate with field staff to meet daily targets.

The role requires strong driving skills, technical awareness, and independent work, with travel and extended stays as part of the position. Fluency in English and safe driving are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience (taxi, delivery, logistics, courier).
• Good English.
• Experience driving larger vehicles (vans, trucks) preferred.
• Defensive, calm, and safety-oriented driving style.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools.
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in the working country.
• Polite, professional demeanor with the public.
• Basic technical knowledge (e.g., changing tires).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate client-provided vehicles with mapping equipment.
• Collect mapping data within assigned zones per project guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and basic upkeep.
• Identify safe parking locations and secure vehicles daily.
• Coordinate with Camp Coordinator on daily activities and issues.
• Meet daily/weekly delivery targets with project coordinators.
• Travel long distances and work hotel-based assignments.
• Maintain inventory and device logs in the designated system.
