Job summary

Service Measure seeks reliable drivers to support large-scale mapping data collection. You will operate client-provided vehicles with mapping gear, work independently, and coordinate with field coordinators. Travel and extended hotel-based assignments are required.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years driving and comfort with larger vehicles, GPS use, and professional conduct in public settings. This role involves strict safety standards and remote field work across zones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
• At least 2 years of professional driving (taxi, delivery, logistics, courier).
• Good English language skills for field coordination.
• Experience driving vans or trucks preferred.
• Defensive, calm and safety-oriented driving style.
• Comfortable in high-traffic and stressful conditions.
• Familiarity with GPS/navigation devices.
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in the area.
• Polite, professional demeanor when interacting with the public.
• Basic technical knowledge (e.g., tire changes, vehicle gauges).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate client-provided vehicles with mapping equipment.
• Collect mapping data within assigned zones per guidelines.
• Handle and protect client vehicles, devices, and equipment.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment cleanliness and upkeep.
• Identify safe local parking and secure vehicles daily.
• Securely park and safeguard the vehicle at designated locations.
• Report incidents professionally, including accidents.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Camp Coordinator.
• Communicate technical or operational issues promptly.
• Meet daily/weekly delivery targets with project coordinators.
• Travel long distances and work hotel-based assignments.
• Maintain accurate inventory and device logs in the system.
