Job summary

Magna International in Piedmont, California, is seeking a production/line associate for Cosma Group. The role includes daily pre-shift inspections, safety adherence, and coordinating workloads on a team line. You will also collect data and assist in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; valid driver’s license with forklift license to be obtained within one week; SAP experience is preferred. Pay range is $27.65 - $30.63 per hour with strong benefits.

• Provide feedback to supervisor on performance and training needs.

Job responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

• Ensure dailyPre-Shiftinspections and frequency checks are completed accurately and conduct planned inspection audits on each shift.
• Follow,complyand enforce all operational procedures/policies asstatedin the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (Magna and OSHA Standards).
• ConductPre-Shiftmeetings with the team to communicate safety and/or quality issues and production targets.
• Fills in for Team Members that need to temporarily leave the line (emergency, bathroom break, etc.)
• Complete all necessary documentation including hourly data collection with downtime reasons and daily performance graphing.
• Coordinate and assign jobresponsibilityfor team memberson a daily basis.
• Maintain open communication and provide continued support to other departmentsregardingany changes, problems, or special projects. Encourages open communications; confrontsdifficult situations;maintainsobjectivity; keeps emotions under control; uses negotiation skills to resolve conflicts.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the supervisorregardingteam member performance and training needs.

Position requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma or GEDrequired

Work experience/ technical training:

• **** Valid driver’s license. Current forklift license to be obtained within 1 week of hired.Documented proof of training every three years for maintenance offorklift/truck license must bemaintained.
• Prior SAPexperience preferred
