Job summary

BAMSI in Norton, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor MAP to support adults in Group Living Environments. You will implement treatment plans, teach ADLs, and document care while collaborating with clinicians to promote independence and community integration.

Responsibilities include medication supervision under MAP guidelines, transportation to appointments, and fostering coping skills in a trauma-informed setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
• Implement Treatment Plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
