Job summary

Living Redemption Community Development Corporation seeks a MAP Engagement Coordinator for Johnson Houses to support resident-driven organizing with MAP partners. You will recruit residents, build capacity in policy and placemaking, and coordinate with city agencies to advance safety and well-being goals.

The role emphasizes data-informed planning, resident leadership, and collaboration with government partners. Flexible schedule and weekend/evening work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 3 years in a related area (community engagement/organizing)
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work with diverse communities and partners, including weekends/evenings

Responsibilities

• Recruit and manage a diverse Johnson Houses resident team
• Develop engagement plan with benchmarks and outcomes
• Attend in-person and virtual meetings with MAP partners and city agencies
• Coordinate with MAP Initiative Managers and stakeholders
• Track actions, document meeting notes, and share with partners
• Lead resident meetings and public community events as needed
