Job summary

BAMSI is hiring a Residential Counselor - MAP in Holliston, MA. You will provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments, helping with daily living skills and community integration.

Responsibilities include teaching ADLs, implementing treatment plans, administering MAP-guided medications, transporting residents, and documenting care while maintaining a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• MAP certification is required; if not, employer-provided training must be completed within 3 months.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility.
• Strong communication skills in English and basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Teach ADLs (cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
• Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
