We have an exciting opportunity for a MAOP Reconfirmation Program Manager based in Maumelle, AR.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MAOP Reconfirmation Program Manager to lead and oversee our Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) compliance program. This role is critical in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational integrity, and safety across our pipeline system. The Program Manager will develop, implement, and maintain processes to verify, document, and sustain MAOP in accordance with federal and state regulations, including PHMSA requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and execution of the MAOP Reconfirmation compliance program, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage MAOP verification processes, including data analysis, record reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee the integration and validation of pipeline documentation to support MAOP compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, integrity management, and regulatory teams to maintain accurate records.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and training programs related to MAOP compliance.
  • Identify and address gaps in documentation, pressure testing, or materials records to maintain compliance.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and timely submission of compliance documentation to regulatory agencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance verification and documentation processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for audits related to MAOP compliance.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pipeline operations, integrity management, or regulatory compliance within the natural gas or energy industry.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or PMP certification.
  • Experience with MAOP verification projects.
  • Familiarity with inline inspection (ILI) and integrity assessment methods.
  • Leadership or program management experience in pipeline integrity or compliance roles.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Deep knowledge of PHMSA regulations (49 CFR Part 192), industry standards (API, ASME), and safety practices.
  • Understanding of pipeline materials, pressure testing, and data integration.
  • Experience with GIS, records management, and regulatory reporting systems.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
