Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring for an entry-level plant operations role in Massillon, Ohio. You will work as part of the manufacturing team to support production, reduce downtime, and maintain equipment following 5S standards. The position requires flexibility for first and second shifts and overtime as needed.

We expect a high school diploma or GED, a strong safety mindset, and reliable attendance. Prior packaging or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Able to work 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to boost productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Assist all plant floor jobs as needed.
• Follow safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
