Job summary

ProAmpac, a 24/7 manufacturing facility in Manistique, MI, is seeking entry- to mid-level operators for a 4-on-4-off swing shift. The role offers opportunities for advancement, a robust benefits package, and potential for earnings above $72,000 annually for ambitious hires.

Training will be provided on shift cycles, with exposure to multiple mill areas and machinery. Pay starts at $23.51 per hour with a $0.50 night shift differential; a probationary period may lead to further increases.

Qualifications

• Some previous work in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate machinery and follow safety procedures.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Relief operator for multiple roles (5th Hand, Wrapper, Material Handler).
• Operate an overhead crane and load/adjust label printers.
• Inspect incoming shipments and ensure proper loading of conveyors and wires.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
