Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking an engineer to implement BDPS work processes in the manufacturing unit. You will identify key equipment settings, develop standards, and transfer knowledge to operators and technical staff while coaching teams on continuous improvement.

You will tackle top losses, drive OEE, and manage change control and quality events. Minimum education is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Mechanical Engineering preferred; 2–3 years of

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Two years Medical manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Three years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.
  • Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.
  • Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
  • Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
  • Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
  • Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
