Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Transfer Engineer to move new products into manufacturing, improve processes and qualify equipment. The role emphasizes Six Sigma, LEAN techniques, and cross-team collaboration to ensure successful launches.

You will develop tests, analyze results, and prepare training materials for production staff while coordinating project plans and manufacturing support tasks. A strong engineering background and process discipline are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of related experience OR Master’s degree with internship or thesis in Engineering/Science.
Experience with manufacturing transfer, process validation, and equipment qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes using Six Sigma and LEAN methods to improve efficiency and equipment design.
Develop and execute moderately complex experiments and tests to qualify processes; analyze results and report findings.
Analyze and resolve moderately complex manufacturing and compliance issues (CAPA, non-conformances, audits).
Create training and work instructions to enable knowledge transfer across production teams.
Establish project plans and manage deliverables using standard project management tools.
Oversee manufacturing support tasks; instruct technicians and coordinate activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
