Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Webster, NY is seeking a Training Specialist who turns operational knowledge into repeatable technical training. You will design curricula, deliver complex trainings, coach Certified Trainers, and manage qualification data to improve workforce readiness.

Reporting to the Site Training Manager, you will lead area-level training rollouts, develop role-based learning paths, and maintain content across SOPs, job aids, and assessments while upholding GMP and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, training, operations, engineering, or related field.
• Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills to translate technical information.
• Ability to lead area-level projects independently with deadlines and risks.
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt plans as conditions change.
• Analyze qualification data to drive training actions.
• Willingness to flex schedule across shifts and maintain safety standards.
• Knowledge of adult learning, content design, and competency-based training.

Responsibilities

• Partner with area supervisors and operators to define role requirements and training priorities.
• Design and develop curricula, SOPs, job aids, assessments, and practice activities.
• Coach and certify Certified Trainers and manage the trainer program.
• Track qualification progress and maintain accurate skills data and evidence.
• Deliver training rollouts, verify performance evidence, and ensure sign-off readiness.
• Maintain content depth in key manufacturing domains as processes change.
• Lead training workstreams for capital projects, equipment changes, and new products.
