Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Training & Development Leader to shape how factory teams build skills, engage with their work, and contribute to operational excellence across our manufacturing environment.

You will partner with factory leadership, operations, HR, and support functions to design practical, engaging learning experiences, applying lean principles and change leadership to turn strategy into measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Training & Development, HR, Organizational Development, or related field.
• At least 4 years designing, delivering, and managing training programs.
• Hands-on experience with lean management systems.
• Background in a fast-paced, matrixed manufacturing environment.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and change leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing training initiatives, resources, and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and continuously improve training and development programs.
• Partner with factory, HUB, operations, and HR leaders to align learning with business needs.
• Strengthen onboarding programs to accelerate integration and engagement.
• Track and analyze training KPIs to enhance effectiveness and outcomes.
• Ensure consistent execution of training plans aligned with operational goals.
• Maintain and optimize training management systems and learning resources.
• Apply adult learning principles to empower trainers and engage learners.
• Drive accountability for training participation and capability development.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
