Job summary

Saab is seeking a Manufacturing Tooling Technician to support aircraft production on-site in Indiana. You will audit and maintain assembly tooling, conduct tooling studies, and assist in basic design, testing and analysis of tool performance to keep production running smoothly.

Work closely with engineers and assemblers to ensure tools are available, safe, and compliant with aerospace standards, contributing to reliability improvements and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining assembly tooling and fixtures.
• Ability to diagnose tooling issues on the shop floor.
• Familiarity with aerospace industry safety and quality standards.
