Job summary

SAAB is seeking a Manufacturing Tooling Technician to support aircraft production on-site in Jamestown, Indiana. You will audit and maintain assembly tooling, perform tooling studies and basic design tasks, and test and analyze tool performance to resolve issues on the shop floor.

The role collaborates closely with engineers and assemblers to keep tools available, safe, and compliant with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of assembly tooling and tooling maintenance practices.
• Experience in tooling audits or studies is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic design tasks related to tooling.
• Ability to test and analyze tool performance and resolve issues on the shop floor.
