Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Whitehall, MI is seeking a Test Engineer to support manufacturing partners across West Michigan. You will develop and execute test plans, design test fixtures, and perform root cause analysis to improve product quality and manufacturability.

Collaboration with design and production teams is essential to ensure robust testing and reliable results. Experience with automation, data acquisition, and quality systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in developing and debugging automated test scripts using Python, C#, or LabVIEW.
• Strong understanding of data acquisition systems, instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies), and sensor technologies.
• Experience with SPC and data analysis for identifying trends and root causes of failures.
• Familiarity with MES and QMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products.
• Design and build test fixtures and automated test systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of product and process failures.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to improve product quality and manufacturability.
• Document test procedures, results, and bug reports.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures in production.
