Job summary

SiFly is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop, deploy, and support production test systems for complex electromechanical products. You will lead test development from NPI through production ramp, ensuring robust validation and release of test fixtures, software, and measurement controls.

The role requires strong hardware/software troubleshooting, experience with PCBAs and electromechanical assemblies, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to deploy test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of manufacturing test engineering experience with complex electronic/electromechanical products.
• Direct production environment experience including NPI, ramp, and sustained manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, deploy, and maintain automated production test systems for PCBAs, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Define test station architecture, protocols, coverage, limits, fixtures, instrumentation, interfaces, software, data collection, and pass/fail criteria.
• Develop, modify, and debug automated test software for DUT communication, instrument control, sequencing, data acquisition, analysis, and traceability.
• Collaborate with Engineering during NPI/DFT reviews to ensure robust production tests.
• Improve test cycle time, throughput, FPY, coverage, and overall production efficiency.
• Establish test-system validation and measurement controls including GR&R, calibration, and traceability.
