A leading AI Robotics company in San Jose is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to manage the test development and validation of custom electronics. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with various teams, extensive experience in PCBA testing, and the ability to travel overseas frequently for operational support. Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own PCBA-level test development and validation across all our custom electronics. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and validating ICT (In-Circuit Test), FCT (Functional Circuit Test), and end-of-line diagnostics for our board builds — from prototype through mass production.
This role is highly hands-on and requires regular travel to overseas contract manufacturers (CMs). You will work closely with electrical engineering, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure all test systems are robust, scalable, and capable of identifying issues before boards ever reach final assembly.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $160,000 and $230,000 annually.
The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
