Job summary

Protingent is seeking a Manufacturing Test Architect – Systems & Infrastructure for the onsite Bellevue, WA location. You will lead the MTE strategy and design scalable test architectures with a focus on data integrity across global manufacturing.

Role requires hands-on coding and debugging on the factory floor, plus collaboration with hardware and firmware teams to enforce DFt principles. Expect travel up to 20% to support Asian sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing and test system development.
• Professional-level proficiency in programming for test automation and system control.
• Experience designing and managing databases and backend systems for manufacturing.
• Technical depth across the full testing lifecycle and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect comprehensive manufacturing test strategies for scalable hardware platforms.
• Develop and deploy manufacturing line test equipment and automation frameworks.
• Architect and maintain backend data systems and pipelines for test data.
• Collaborate with Asia-based partners and travel up to 20% internationally.
• Lead as the technical authority on MTE while enabling DFt principles with teams.
• Hands-on coding, debugging, and on-the-floor troubleshooting of test equipment.
