Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced engineering/manufacturing professional to lead identification and resolution of process and equipment deficiencies across mining plants. You will drive solutions and set execution priorities.

You will guide plant personnel in best practices for operation and preventative maintenance, support capital projects, and use data-driven methods to improve performance in EHQS and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified.
• 5 years experience in engineering or manufacturing in diverse environments.
• 5 years experience in heavy industrial operations including equipment maintenance.
• Experience in mineral processing and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Experience with mining operations and crushing & screening equipment is a plus.
• Strong data and analytics skills.
• Experience engaging with production and maintenance organizations.

Responsibilities

• Providing support towards capital project justifications.

• Leading operational excellence at all four IMP mining plants through conscientious management and decisive actions in environment, health, safety, quality, manufacturing, cost, and employee relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Five (5) year(s) of experience in one or more of the following areas: Engineering or manufacturing technical field in a private, public, government, or military environment
• Five (5) years of experience in heavy industrial operations including equipment maintenance
• Prior experience in mineral processing, manufacturing process & maintenance of heavy equipment
• Experience with mining operations and related crushing & screening equipment a plus
• Strong data and analytics skills
• Experience engaging with production and maintenance organizations.
