Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager - Technology to deploy digital manufacturing solutions across factory sites. You will coordinate PLM/MBOM deployments, align IT, OT, and Manufacturing, and drive data visibility and process standardization.

You will partner with site leadership to map requirements, plan deployments, and support training while ensuring cybersecurity and compliance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or information systems field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with factory operations and continuous improvement.
• Experience deploying or sustaining manufacturing technologies (PLM, MBOM, MES, ERP, SCADA, IIoT).
• Ability to translate business needs into practical deployment activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of manufacturing technology solutions at factory sites, including PLM/MBOM and related digital manufacturing systems.
• Serve as a liaison between IT, OT, and Manufacturing to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Support implementation of plant technology strategies that improve execution, traceability, and data visibility.
• Collaborate with site leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define deployment plans.
• Coordinate site readiness activities for new technology implementations, including process mapping and training support.
• Drive MBOM deployment activities aligning engineering product structures with plant processes.
• Support integration between enterprise systems and plant-floor technologies.
• Develop and maintain standard work, deployment documentation, and user support materials.
• Facilitate change management to support user adoption.
• Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support governance and compliance with cybersecurity, data integrity, and access controls.
