Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA seeks a Manufacturing Technology Deployment Engineer to support a high-mix foundry environment. You will act as the on-floor representative for the Digital Manufacturing and Analytics Group, ensuring safe and efficient use of MES, FDC, and custom interfaces.

You will create training materials, lead sessions, and roll out new interfaces, while coordinating with Facilities for installation and network readiness. This onsite role demands clear communication and reliability.

Qualifications

  • University Degree or equivalent with at least 5 years in Manufacturing/Industrial/Systems/ Semiconductor Engineering.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, systems engineering, or computer science is preferred.
  • Clear communication and ability to earn trust when training operators and engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain training materials and escalation pathways to support long-term user adoption.
  • Lead recurring training sessions and partner with cross-functional teams to identify workflow improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the group and fab-floor stakeholders.
  • Introduce and roll out new interfaces to production environments with hands-on training and close support during initial deployment.
  • Collaborate with Facilities to implement physical elements of technologies (e.g., mounting tool-side tablets, workstations, network access).

Manufacturing Technology Deployment Engineer – Andover, MA

Position Overview

Located within the RFC (Radio Frequency) Semiconductor foundry, this onsite role supports the high‑mix manufacturing environment producing microwave monolithic integrated circuits. The Engineer serves as the primary on‑floor representative for the Digital Manufacturing and Analytics Group, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent use of factory applications such as the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Fault Detection Control (FDC) application, and custom interfaces.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain training materials and document escalation pathways to support long‑term user adoption.
  • Lead recurring training sessions and partner with cross‑functional teams to identify workflow improvements.
  • Serve as the consistent point of contact between the group and fab‑floor stakeholders.
  • Introduce and roll out new interfaces to production environments, providing hands‑on training, guided adoption, and close support during initial deployment.
  • Collaborate with Facilities to implement the physical elements of technologies (e.g., mounting tool‑side tablets, positioning workstations, ensuring network accessibility, and peripheral installations).
Qualifications
  • University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, System Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology).
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience with manufacturing environments, systems engineering, or computer science preferred.
  • Clear communication, confidence, and ability to earn trust and credibility when training and supporting operators and engineers.
  • Experience with semiconductor equipment desirable.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD (based on experience and location).
