IPS - Rubbercraft (RCC) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician – Trim (2nd Shift)

Job Accountabilities:

  • Supports company’s Mission, Vision & Values; drive positive customer experience
  • Trim, buff, or clean parts as instructed by the process router, drawings, or specifications
  • Repair or rework damaged parts if applicable per the instructions of Quality or rework process router
  • Ready parts and paperwork for presentation to Quality final inspection
  • Perform visual in-process inspection of the product and segregate non-conforming products from production
  • Be able to read English, follow written instructions, and understand process routers and travelers
  • Document sign-off on all applicable operations
  • Verify daily production counts
  • Assist as required or assigned throughout the facility
  • Suggest process and manufacturing improvements to increase efficiency
  • Understand and adhere to all environmental health and safety guidelines including all safety policies and posted signs.
  • Be able to read and understand process routers and travelers.
  • Follow all written instructions, work instructions, travelers and procedures.
  • Sign off production records, travelers and logs as work is completed.
  • Maintain the order and cleanliness of production work areas, ensuring that all tools, materials and supplies are returned to their designated locations.
  • Assist as required or assigned throughout the facility.

Job Specifications:

Education: Requires a High School Diploma/GED or appropriate certifications may be substituted to meet educational requirements only.

Years’ Experience: 1-2+ years of previous experience working in manufacturing, assembly, layup, fabrication or similar work environment

Skills:

  • Bilingual – English/Spanish but not required
  • Familiar with tools used during composites manufacturing
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to use tools to do production operations correctly and safely
  • Ability to lift, hold and carry up to 20 pounds unaided
